Is there a font that inclines us to believe that a sentence that’s set in it is true?

Communication Arts’ Michael Bierut on Errol Morris’s typography trick quiz and how Baskerville is the typeface of truth.

When I started printing my own handouts I was conscious of selecting a legible font for the elderly. I thought of the Arial font in eye charts used by Optometrists and why they use them. After comparing standard fonts it was my opinion that Georgia had easily discernible differences between letters (e.g., g and q; i and l)
