A Formal Apology
This morning, for the first time, I was asked to teach the Adult Sunday School class.
Although I like the NASB my church is ESV. The Elders have asked that when we lead/teach we do so from the ESV. So I thought I’d use the apps on my iPad for Bible and for my notes.
I quickly realized the awkwardness of switching between a bible app and a note app from the podium. Next time I’m taking paper notes and a paper bible. Tomorrow, my next purchase will be a single-column, no reference, verse, Spanish-English, ESV (I don’t know Hebrew or Greek, but the having the Spanish for comparison helps me greatly with translation issues.)
I hereby apologise if I’ve ever said, wrote, or thought anything offensive to anyone for still buying paper bibles : )
