The Midwest Center for Theological Studies announces Basic Training.
Why did we create a new program to go along with our existing Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Theological Studies? First, we did it to provide flexibility. Basic Training allows for theological education while the student remains in his own community where he can be mentored by his pastors. Second, we did it to be efficient. Basic Training provides an opportunity to learn the essentials of planting and pastoring churches without a commitment to a longer program. While more training is often preferable, it is not always suitable to each man’s gifts, calling, and circumstances. Third, Basic Training offers value. The tuition is only $50 per credit hour. This means that the total tuition and fees for the entire program will come to $1,650. The only additional expenses will be the purchase of books and materials as well as travel associated with coming once a year to the campus of the Midwest Center for the modular class.
